Hi,
When is the next “Bootcamp” session?
Thanks,
Claudia
Hi
Just wondering if u have an upcoming boot camps in the Toronto area
Thanks
Yes, Yes! Please check out my bootcamp on Feb 25 / 26 in Toronto. That is the last one planned for this year thus far.
Hi Alyson
I love your book “Aint’ Misbehavin’”. I’ve read it cover to cover. I’ve just moved from Toronto to the Niagara region and my four year old is adjusting to school and daycare no problem but is rude and nasty with me at home. The calmer and more logical I remain the angrier she gets. I’m at a complete loss what to do now. It’s been three weeks of angry outbursts, screaming and back talk. Is there anything in either of your other books that would help me through this time. I’m feeling very defeated and depressed by the situation (I’m a single mum so there is no back up here).
Help.

Hello Alison,
I am glad you enjoyed Ain’t Misbehavin’ I think any move would be taxing on a child and I suspect she is holding it together at school, but letting it out when she is in the safe confines of her home. Its a BIG adjustment for you both and I suspect until she gets well established in her new social circles, things might be a tough. I recommend you read HONEY, I WRECKED THE KIDS. It is the book that explains children’s misbehaviour in a way that should give you insight into her motives and believes. For now, I would recommend you listen and reflect her feelings. She may be interpreting your calmness as emotional cutting off, so be very loving in your facial expressions, and touching and hear her out ” sound like your mad at mommy, you really want me to know your upset with me…”
Hope that little tid bit helps til you get through the book!
Alyson
Hello Alyson,
Are you coming to Calgary?
Thank you!
Hello Angie,
I am not doing a bootcamp in Calgary – but I am hoping to speak there some time in 2011. If you know of any good venues that fit about 250 people, I’d love to have suggestions. I don’t know your fair city very well. Alyson
I am working on schedules for 2012 in the next few weeks!
