If you watch “The Parenting Show,” you know I do a regular book review.  This week, I discussed the book “Raising Respectful Kids in a Rude World”.  It’s a good primer to discipline written by some of my Adlerian mentors.  If you pick it up, feel free to share your own review in the comment section.

    Hi Alyson,
Did you find out where this book can be purchased? I can’t find it anywhere.
    Thanks!

Any more books you recommend? Would love a list of books/authors/speakers you have read/heard/seen that you like/agree with.

Thanks for asking Anne Marie! I had a book section on my old site that didn’t get moved over and I will do better to get that info up on this site. I agree – its important information. Thanks for the nudge. I know my pal Thea will be thrilled to see me get to this task!

Hi – a friend of mine just went to hear you speak and she mentioned that you were referencing a ‘best of policies’ that you had created based on your current books. Do you have the name of this because I don’t see it on your site.

I think she might have been referring to a check list of qualities in a healthy family. I have a list in the back of Ain’t Misbhavin’ My last book. Thanks for inquiring.
