ELIGIBILITY:

1. Alyson Schafer, Family Talk twitter party prizing (“Contest“) is open to persons who reside within Canada , and have reached the age of majority in the Province of Ontario (18 years of age) as of the date of entry for the Contest.

HOW TO ENTER:

2. No purchase necessary. To enter the Contest, participate in the #FamilyTalk Twitter Chat on August 3, 2016, between 12pm-1pm EST using the hashtag #FamilyTalk.
3. All tweets must be posted during the “Twitter Chat” beginning at 12:00p.m. EST on August 3, 2016 and ending on 1:00 p.m. EST, August 3, 2016 p.m. (“Contest Closing Date”).
4. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to grant a perpetual, irrevocable, paid-up right and license to use, copy, distribute and publish the entrant’s video submission(s), in whole or in part, without restrictions or limitations, in connection with this Contest and any Alyson Schafer marketing collateral in any advertising medium, for any purpose which Alyson Schafer deems appropriate.
5. Entries that are incomplete, late, lost, and/or irregular in any way or sent by an unauthorized method are automatically void and will not be eligible or accepted. Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means.
6. During the Contest Giveaway Period, the Contest Sponsor will tweet questions via the Contest Information Page. Entrants can submit their written entry (“Entry” or “Entries”) by Tweeting their response to @alysonschafer or another Twitter account, as instructed by Alyson Schafer, ensuring to include the hashtag #FamilyTalk. By replying with a Tweet to the Tweet question, you indicate your agreement and compliance with the Rules. Your Entry must be in accordance with the specific requirements listed below.
7. Entries that are incomplete, late, lost, and/or irregular in any way or sent by an unauthorized method are automatically void and will not be eligible or accepted. Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means.
8. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules.

THE PRIZES

9. The Prizes must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, transferred, substituted, exchanged, refunded or redeemed for cash value. Alyson Schafer reserves the right to substitute a Prize with an item of equivalent or greater retail value in the event that a Prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond Alyson Schafer’s control.

Winners will be randomly chosen by the party host @AlysonSchafer and moderator @H2OKathryn.

SELECTION PROCESS

10. Winners will be chosen randomly from those participating in the Twitter Chat using the hashtag #FamilyTalk. The odds of being randomly selected to win a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the giveaway period.
11. The potential winners will be chosen by random draw from the participation list, which will take place in Toronto after the completion of the Twitter chat. Selected winners will be announced publically on Twitter immediately following the Twitter party using the hashtag #FamilyTalk.

WINNER CONFIRMATION

12. Winning entrants will be notified via their social profile. No communication or correspondence will be entered into, except with selected entrants.
13. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted by telephone personally after a minimum of three (3) attempts, and/or does not respond to a voicemail message within seven (7) business days of the first attempt to contact him/her, and/or fails to be confirmed as a Winner within the time prescribed, he/she will be disqualified and will not receive any Prize, and another eligible entry will be selected from the remaining eligible entries received until a Winner is confirmed.

AWARDING OF PRIZES

14. Prizes will only be delivered to confirmed Winners. Please allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for delivery.
15. Selected entrants are subject to verification by Alyson Schafer and/or Alyson Schafer’s designated representatives, in their sole discretion.
16. Refusal by an entrant to accept the Prize or any part of the Prize releases and forever discharges Alyson Schafer and its agents from all obligations related to the Prize, including delivery. The Winner is solely responsible for all expenses which are not included in the Prize description above.

GENERAL RULES

17. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release Alyson Schafer and its affiliated companies, and their officers, directors, employees, suppliers, sponsors, administrators, representatives and agents, including but not limited to Alyson Schafer advertising and promotional agencies (the “Releasees”) from any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever arising from their participation in the Contest or use of any Prize awarded as a result of this Contest.
18. By entering the Contest, entrants agree that the decisions of Alyson Schafer are final and binding. Alyson Schafer may, at Alyson Schafer’s sole discretion, terminate or withdraw any Contest entry without liability and without notice to the entrant. Alyson Schafer reserves the right, in Alyson Schafer’s sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Contest for any reason including should a virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Alyson Schafer corrupt or affect the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is illegal, and should such an attempt be made, Alyson Schafer reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including, where appropriate, criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Alyson Schafer reserves the right to change the terms of this Contest or terminate it at any time, without prior notice.
19. Online entries must be made by the original, manual keystrokes of the individual entrant. Use of mechanical assistance, form filling software, or robotic assistance is prohibited.
20. Only one entry per person is permitted.
21. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and shall be governed by the laws of Ontario.
22. All applicable federal, provincial and municipal taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
