Instilling Independence – Morning Workshop
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Dr. Rudolf Dreikurs once said “Never do for a child what a child can do for themselves”. This quote is the premise behind my workshop on how to foster independence within your kids. Learn how doing less for them can have great impact on their later success in life and immediately benefit the everyday flow at home.
We will be tackling issues such as:
- Homework
- Chores around the house
- Schedules, bedtimes and extra-curricular activities
- Managing allowance
- Ways to hold children accountable without bribes, threats or punishments
- Changing your mindset and removing the guilt
