How To Teach Kids To Stand Up For Themselves

In light of the recent #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, the importance of standing up for oneself has been made abundantly clear. We want to teach our children the same lesson; that our voices are important and need to be heard. Unfortunately, the social norms embedded in our culture often tell us the opposite.

 

That is why, as parents, we are tasked with the important job of motivating and encouraging our children to stand up for themselves.
