Food Additives and Hyperactivity in Children

I have not read the primary research, but I echo Dr. Edward Hallowell’s sentiments. He is the leading ADHD guy, and his approach includes getting some real basics in place that are often missing in families: good eating, good sleeping, order and routines, etc.
I often refer to the expression “children who feel good, do good.” That includes emotional and physical wellness. I know eating balanced, wholesome and freshly prepared food is a good healthy start for all children – regardless of how much they like to talk, interrupt, jiggle and bounce.
