Richard St John’s “8 Things That Lead To Success”

Tags: , , ,

Often parents think the Adlerian methods I teach are too soft and will lead to children who are not suitably prepared to succeed in this competitive world. This video of a presentation made by Richard St John, seems to support the importance of the Adlerian principles of “social interest” and raising an “encouraged child”.

An encouraged child has the “courage to be imperfect” and sees mistakes as opportunities to learn, rather than a reason to quit.

Enjoy!

PS – I bet the “pushy moms” mentioned where actually “encouraging moms” because otherwise they would have simply invited rebellion.
